It’s been a minute since I worked with such a galactic yet earthy specimen. The process has been very interesting with many layers in process to “get it right”. During the process of finalizing this Lapis Lazuli, I was guided to create all these dented dots around the bezel. I polished with the burnisher and thought I was done several times, but no, I was guided to create the texture of the medallion almost like a crater, rugged and textured. It’s as if one would be transported into space while touching and feeling it with human hands, or as it rests towards the skin on the high-heart chakra.
Depending on how the light falls, it looks both like a starry night with black bold depth and like Mother Earth when the blue hits the light. Whoever connects to this Lapis Lazuli medallion, will be activating layers of deep deep ancient wisdom, as well as wisdom from the future to anchor in…
